Reasonable questions
- Why is my Rasi different from my star sign?
- Because they are measured from different origins. The Western tropical zodiac starts at the March equinox; the Indian sidereal zodiac starts from a fixed point among the stars. The equinox drifts by about fifty arcseconds a year and the gap is now roughly 24°14′, which is most of a sign — so your Indian Rasi is usually one earlier. Neither is wrong, and EnteAstro shows both.
- What if I don't know my birth time?
- Say so, and EnteAstro will produce no Ascendant, no Midheaven and no house placements — rather than assuming noon, which is what most software quietly does. What can be calculated still is: the slower planets' signs, and usually your Nakshatra. If the Moon crosses a boundary on your birth date, the product names both possibilities instead of picking one.
- Does an AI write my reading?
- No. Nakshatra, Rasi, Lagna, planetary positions, Dasha, Tithi, transits, aspects and every numerology number are deterministic calculations, and no language model touches any of them. The interpretations are a versioned rule database written from the classical sources, each rule attached to a calculated condition and carrying its source.
- Is the Panchang calculated for where I actually am?
- Yes. Sunrise, sunset and therefore Rahu Kalam, Yamagandam and Gulika all come from your own location. In Kochi in December the eighth of daylight those periods occupy is about 86 minutes; in Dublin it is about 56. Serving Indian sunrise times to somebody in Ireland is the most visible way this product could be wrong.
- Which ayanamsa do you use?
- Lahiri (Chitrapaksha), the Indian Calendar Reform Committee's official value, by default. It reproduces the published J2000 value to within a third of an arcsecond. Raman, Krishnamurti, Fagan/Bradley and true Chitrapaksha are also available, and the one in force is recorded against everything you save. See how EnteAstro calculates.
- Will EnteAstro tell me when I'll get married, or how long I'll live?
- No. EnteAstro makes no mortality, medical, fertility, criminality or mental-health claim from a chart or from a hand, in any framing. That includes the Life Line, whose length is very widely said to indicate lifespan and does not. The tradition speaks in tendencies; a product that speaks in certainties is making a claim it cannot support.
- What happens after the free trial?
- €4.99 a month if you want to keep it, and nothing if you do not. No card is needed to start the trial, so nothing happens automatically. Your account, your saved birth profiles and your reading history stay available either way, and you can export or delete everything at any time.
- Is anything held back during the trial?
- No. The seven days are the whole product, including the seventh day's reading. You should be deciding with the real thing in front of you — a crippled trial tells you nothing about what you would be paying for.
- Who can see my birth details?
- You. Birth profiles, charts, readings and palm readings have no staff read policy in the database at any role — operating EnteAstro does not include the ability to read whose chart somebody saved. Nothing is public by default and nothing is sold.
- I think a calculation is wrong.
- Please tell us. If you consent, the report carries a technical snapshot — engine version, ayanamsa, resolved time zone, the birth instant — which is what makes a report investigable rather than a shrug. Report it here.
